It's official - Amadeus River Cruises offers 'Best Value for Money'

Luxury European river cruise operator, Amadeus River Cruises, has been awarded 'Best Value for Money' by the world's leading cruise reviews site, Cruise Critic.

The 2017 Cruise Critic UK Editor’s Pick Awards highlight the best cruise lines of the year across dozens of categories. Amadeus River Cruises was singled out amongst a hugely competitive sector thanks to its unique blend of affordability and high standards.

Announcing the winners, Cruise Critic's panel of editors said: "Amadeus bucks the trend by not including excursions in the fare, aside from a handful of shore tours on some group bookings. This makes it very affordable, albeit with no compromise on quality."

They continued: "Passengers can do as much - or as little - as they please by picking from an "a la carte" programme of three or four excursion packages, which can be booked in advance at a discounted rate".

Amadeus River Cruises has long been regarded as a pioneer in the upper premium segment of the river cruising industry, with its fleet of 17 ship having won several accolades in the past including 'river ship of the year' for Amadeus Silver in 2013.

Brooke Daniels, UK Sales Manager for Amadeus River Cruises in the UK said: "We've worked hard to communicate the great value for money that Amadeus offers to those searching for a luxurious, yet affordable river cruise holiday and are so pleased to be recognised by an authority as influential as Cruise Critic."

She added: "We are firm believers in the ability to tailor-make a holiday to suit you, so offering flexibility to passengers in terms of what activities they wish to take part in whilst on a cruise, is really important."

News of the awards comes at the end of an exciting year for the operator which saw its new ship, the Amadeus Provence come into service in April 2017, closely followed by the announcement of its 15th ship, the innovative Amadeus Queen, set to launch in the Spring of 2018.
